Coaching from the Big Leagues
We’re dreaming up something big for the Philadelphia-Area Chick-fil-A Restaurants that’s part rally, part retreat, and all heart. We’re in the early stages of planning a special event featuring Tom Burgoyne – you may know him better as the Phillie Phanatic’s “Best Friend.” He’s the co-author of Pheel the Love. For decades, Tom has captured the hearts in stadiums packed with 40,000+ phans… all without saying a word. Sound familiar, cows?
In this keynote event, Tom will share nuggets of wisdom about how love can be the most powerful force in business, leadership, and brand loyalty. As we are on a collective mission to be the world’s most caring company, we think this is a message that speaks right to the soul of what we do here at Chick-fil-A – especially to the people (and cows) who are tasked with bringing our brand to life every day.
We’re thinking this event would be great for:
• Operators
• Restaurant Marketing Leaders
• Restaurant Leadership
• Cow Mascot Performers
Whether you’re behind the counter or inside the costume, Tom’s message will leave your team fired up and ready to create joy, inspire loyalty, and most importantly, win hearts in your restaurant.
About Tom

Long time Phillies PA announcer, Dan Baker, calls the Phillie Phanatic the “most beloved mascot in all of sports.” And who can argue? Whether he’s on the field taunting the visiting team or leading cheers with Baseball’s best fans, the Phanatic is sure to put a smile on your face.
The man that brings the Phanatic to life is Tom Burgoyne. He is approaching nearly forty seasons with the Phillies and has performed in front of 60 million fans at Phillies games. Tom co-authored “Pheel the Love – How the Most Powerful Force in the Universe Builds Great Companies.”

Batter up! Are you interested?
We’re still in the early stages of planning this event and we’re gauging interest at this point. If we move forward, we will look to schedule in early Fall and costs will be shared among participating restaurants so the more that join in, the smoother the pitch. We’re estimating this will cost around $100 per person based on our research but this will adjust based on the number of participants. Fill out the form below to help us decide if we should slide into home with this idea. Once determined, the cost will cover the cost of the venue, speaker, and a copy of Pheel the Love for the first 100 to register once registration opens.
