Father Judge High School Wins the 2026 Catholic Schools Week Challenge

by Danny

Catholic Schools Week is one of the most meaningful times of the year for us. It’s a chance to celebrate the schools that form students in faith, character, and service – and to rally our community around the incredible work happening inside our Catholic school classrooms every day.

Despite snowstorms, school closures, and a week that required plenty of flexibility, our school communities showed up with heart and enthusiasm. Students, families, alumni, faculty, and friends came together in a powerful way to support their schools and celebrate Catholic education across our community.

After carefully reviewing all participation from the 2026 Catholic Schools Week Challenge, we’re excited to share this year’s results.

🏆 Congratulations to Father Judge High School

Father Judge High School earned 1st Place in this year’s Catholic Schools Week Challenge and proudly takes home the coveted Chick-fil-A Chicken Trophy. The Crusaders rallied their community with incredible spirit and pride from start to finish.

This year’s competition was as close as it gets. Archbishop Ryan High School finished just $183 behind in second place, followed by Saint Hubert Catholic High School for Girls in third and Nazareth Academy High School in fourth. Every school brought energy, creativity, and commitment, making this one of our most competitive and inspiring challenges yet.

A Win for Every School

While one school earns the trophy, every school wins during the Catholic Schools Week Challenge. Each visit made in support of a school directly benefited that school, turning everyday meals into meaningful acts of generosity.

Most importantly, this challenge gave our community a shared way to:

  • Celebrate Catholic education
  • Support students and faculty
  • Come together around faith, service, and school pride

Celebrating Creativity and School Pride

Catholic Schools Week is about more than numbers – it’s about joy, creativity, and pride in our schools. That was on full display through our window painting competition. At Chick-fil-A Whitman Square, the contest ended in a three-way tie between Father Judge, Archbishop Ryan, and Saint Hubert, with each school earning equal votes. The windows were a visible reminder of the love and pride these communities have for their schools.

The windows were painted by:
Saint Hubert: Taliah Michel ’27, Famentor Peters ’27, and Daley Black ’27
Father Judge: Aidan Callahan ’26 and John Bucchieri ’26
Archbishop Ryan: Christian Reyes ’28 and Teaghan Adams ’28
