Your guide to celebrating mom this Mother’s Day

by admin

For the moms who go above and beyond, here’s a guide to making her Mother’s Day memorable

What would we do without moms? Birth mothers, adoptive mothers, stepmothers, godmothers and anyone one else who has made an impact in your life as a mom is someone to be grateful for.

From teaching valuable lessons to providing for the people that she loves, moms truly do it all. At Chick-fil-A®, we believe the moms in our lives deserve year-round celebration, but we’ll take any chance we get to show them how much we really care.

So, to help make this Mother’s Day memorable for a woman in your life, we’ve brainstormed a guide to securing your spot as the favorite family member, world’s best spouse or most thoughtful friend.

1. Remember the little things

For the mom who remembers everything, from the way you like your dinner to a big presentation you mentioned weeks ago, show her how known and loved she really is this Mother’s Day.

Whether it be picking up her favorite food or treating her to lunch or dinner out, nothing says, “I see you and appreciate you,” like surprising her with her favorite meal just the way she likes it.

No white tablecloth required, just attention to detail.

2. Keep it simple

When distance gets in the way of celebrating mom in-person, mailing her a Chick-fil-A Gift Card or emailing her a Chick-fil-A eGift Card will do the trick. Use one of our shareable cards and enclose a thoughtful letter of appreciation with words straight from the heart – as if it’s possible to fit it all on one page with a mom that great.

For the on-the-go mom who likes to mix things up at mealtimes, it’s the gift that keeps on giving.

3. Plan a Mother’s Day feast

Nothing tastes quite as good as a meal prepared by someone else. And if you are not that “someone else,” let us be. For a mom who’s like no other, order a one-of-a-kind Chick-fil-A™ Catering spread packed with all of her favorites.

And we know what you’re thinking – even though we’re closed on Sundays, our reheatable Chilled Chick-fil-A® Nugget Trays or Chilled Chick-fil-A Chick-n-Strips® Trays are perfect for the occasion. Order ahead and pick them up Saturday night for seamless preparation the next day (and don’t forget her favorite sauce!).

You can go the extra mile by adding a vase of her favorite flowers to the table along with place cards, her favorite beverage and her must-have treat (or combine the two in a Frosted beverage!). Because you remember these things, right?

4. Continue the celebration

Because every mom deserves ongoing recognition for all she does, create your own coupon book with redeemable acts of service. From folding the laundry to walking the dog, lighten her load by saying, “I’ve got this,” next time she even thinks about lifting a finger. Because while she is focused on giving others the world, she deserves it, too.

So, no matter what kind of mom describes her best – team moms and office moms to dog moms and the ‘mom’ of the friend group – we hope this will help you show her how appreciated she truly is this Mother’s Day.
